Estateur Education Privacy Notice

This notice describes education accounts and learning features, including administrator previews. It supplements the privacy notice applicable to any other Estateur service you use.

What we collect and why

We use account identity, email verification, course purchases, acceptance records, lesson progress and saved fictional worksheets to provide and secure your learning account. Stripe processes card data directly; Estateur does not store full card numbers. We use limited technical logs and daily submission counters for security, reliability and cost control. We do not sell education responses.

Optional AI practice grading

Before each submission, an unchecked disclosure asks you to confirm that the response contains fictional facts only and authorize processing and account storage. Only the submitted answer, selected state, exercise and grading rubric are sent to Anthropic for practice feedback. Account names, email addresses, other answers and client records are not included in that grading request. Do not enter confidential information or real client data. A reminder cannot detect or remove all sensitive information you type.

We save the answer, selected state, feedback, rubric and model version references, consent version, and submission time in your account. We use these records to display your feedback and trace the rubric used. We do not send your responses to advertising or analytics tools. The AI may misclassify an answer; explanations, model answers and citations displayed with scores come from the authored exercise rubric.

Providers and retention

Anthropic processes submitted practice responses under its commercial API terms and retention policy. Deletion within Estateur does not immediately delete copies retained by Anthropic; its retention periods and legal or safety exceptions apply. Its published retention information is linked next to the submission disclosure. Database and hosting providers process account records to operate the service; email and payment providers support account verification and purchases. We may disclose information where legally required or to address security threats.

Completed submissions remain in your account until deleted. Unfinished grading records are scheduled for automatic cleanup after ten minutes; the database's background cleanup may take longer. Daily grading counters expire automatically. Unsubmitted answers remain in the open form only, are not placed in browser storage, and are lost on navigation or reload. Ordinary infrastructure backups may retain deleted records until their scheduled rotation; deleting active records is not a promise of immediate erasure of all backups or provider copies.

Course purchase, payment, refund and policy-acceptance records are separate from learning responses. We retain transaction records as needed for accounting, legal obligations, fraud prevention and payment disputes, including after account deletion where those purposes apply. Deleting a learning account does not request a refund or delete Stripe's payment records. Close an open unpaid checkout before deleting your account. Contact us for transaction-record retention or deletion requests.

Your controls

Each saved feedback entry offers deletion with confirmation. Your account export includes completed answers, feedback and consent records. Account deletion removes saved grading submissions and daily counters from the active database. You can decline AI submission and continue reading the lesson. Contact contact@estateur.com for access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, including older submissions not visible in the recent-history list. We verify identity before acting on account requests.

Security and changes

We restrict feedback and deletion to the signed-in owner, enforce server-side permissions for grading, and avoid logging answer text or raw provider errors. No system is completely secure. We will update this notice when the education data flow materially changes.
